The same amount of people took part in both the Xbox360 and PS3 surveys....fail :/

All EA games use dedicated servers on XBL -> Fifa 09, FNR3, Bad Company, ect. Prove me wrong please
On XBL, if your friend comes online a message pops up on the bottom of the screen. You can invite him for a chat while you are playing a game or invite him to join in the middle of your game. It's just the seemless integration that makes it awesome and seem more "alive" than the PSN. The XBL visual interface is also more colourfull.
You can go to your friends list and it will show everybody that's joined in a party and join the party yourself without even being in the same ga...
I've experienced the PSN for myself and it is very bland imo. XBL is much more alive and the integration with your friends list is just awesome. If both where free I would have chosen XBL easily, but if it wasn't a paid for service then XBL wouldn't be as awesome as it is because of all the resources Msoft is sinking into it.
I don't know why people think XBL can't use dedicated servers. Left 4 Dead uses dedicated servers, Bad Company uses dedicated servers and many more I can't think of now.
